Louis Toffoli is a painter French born in Trieste ( Italy ), the 16 October 1907, Father Italian and a mother Slovene , and died 18 February 1999 in
Paris . Successively Austro-Hungarian and Italian and French, so European avant la lettre, Toffoli declared himself as "of Trieste "and signed his
paintings or Luigi or Louis, but only Toffoli. Louis Toffoli devoted himself entirely to painting and travel. Israel, the United States, Mexico,
China ... and many other countries which he painted a work always replenished at the heart of everyday life. Aubusson weaves in 1976 the first
tapestries of the painter. From then until today, Louis Toffoli dedicated exclusively to painting. Many special exhibitions are held worldwide.
Several films and television programs are made about his work. Toffoli The museum was inaugurated in 1995 in Charenton-le-Pont . Louis
Toffoli donated to the city of a hundred works. The museum is now closed, replaced by the Municipal Art Gallery and Liberty. Many museums in
Germany, Brazil, Spain, Holland, Israel, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Sweden, USA ... have works of the painter. Many books devoted to it.
