Edmond LOUYOT
Edmond Louyot (born November 15th, 1861 in La Lobe, common Arry and died in the same town January 17th, 1920) was a French genre painter. He obtained a
scholarship in 1884 from the School of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf and the academy Munich at Herterich. Many exhibitions in France and in major cities of Germany
enabled him to live his passion: painting. During the First World War in 1915, he fell seriously ill and after peace was declared returned to France. He died at La Lobe
January 17th, 1920.
