Czech artist Dagmar Mezricky (1944-) is a painter and printmaker who was born in 1944 in Mladá Boleslav in the family of a military doctor. She spent her childhood in Nové Mesto nad Váhom. Here she completed private art studies with the academic painter Juraj Krén. From 1958 to 1963 she studied graphics at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Bratislava. From 1963 she continued at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In 1965 she emigrated to Austria, where she still lives in the town of Hollenburg.
